The Sleeping Lady

The goddess figure you see here is the Sleeping Lady,
a Neolithic clay statue from the the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum in Malta, an underground temple complex dated 3300 – 3000 BC.

Within the temple is the Oracle Room, a chamber where every sound reverberates, magnifying and echoing for several seconds. It is thought this space was used for sacred ritual and dream incubation, guiding people to connect with ancestors, the unseen, and the divine.

Malta is my motherland and a lineage that calls me towards deep listening and ceremony. Alongside my practice as a therapist, I follow a path of apprenticeship in altered states and non-ordinary perception.

We are not separate from the intelligence we seek.
